I’m a storyteller. I create visual narratives through photographs and film, working with clients in advertising, fashion, and editorial.
It took me a while to realize that I should just shoot the things I love. I’m fascinated by people who make things, grow things, use their hands and their bodies in their work. I’m a sucker for the timeless, the rustic, the handmade, the beauty of the imperfect. I like the idea of valuing quality over quantity, knowing where our food comes from, investigating our roots. I love being outside, chasing light, taking the long way home.
I grew up in the South (Texas, Arkansas, Tennessee). I've spent most of my adult life in Southern California, near the ocean. I play competitive beach volleyball and take adventures up and down the West Coast as often as possible. Lived in southern Oregon for several years and a little piece of my heart is still there in the wilderness.
My life is pretty darn good and I’m grateful for that. I try to give back as often as I can by offering my services to support organizations that are doing good stuff in the world. A favorite collaboration is YoMind.com, producing mindfulness videos for use in the public school system.
Problem solver. Creative collaborator. Magic maker.
