FOUR FEET AWAY
Four Feet Away is a personal project filmed in my local high desert community of Joshua Tree, CA. The film, which recently received the top honor at the Yucca Valley Film Festival, highlights the inspiring story of veteran Delissa Dawn. Motivated by her own life challenges, Delissa created a sanctuary in the Mojave Desert for abused horses, as well as a safe haven for local Marines and others in the community dealing with PTSD and mental health struggles.
This labor of love was entirely self-funded—I produced, shot, and edited the film to help raise awareness for the sanctuary.
